The Jim Root (of Slipknot) Signature Jazzmaster electric guitar has a mahogany body and a maple neck. The neck features a satin-gloss finish and a modern C-profile. One of the exceptional features of this particular Jazzmaster is that it has no position markers on its fretboard. And that's not the only thing that's missing, yet the amazing part is that this guitar doesn't compromise on quality. The intentional minimalistic character of this guitar is gracefully compensated by two humbucker pickups, a three-position pickup switch, a master volume knob and a hard-tail Stratocaster bridge instead of the original chrome one.
